The Good Dog Foundation Celebrates 10 Years of Service

Help The Good Dog Foundation celebrate its 10-year anniversary! Two events will kick off the festivities.

Patron's Dinner, Tuesday, May 13, 2008

Join us for a gala dinner honoring Adrian Benepe, Commissioner, New York City Department of Parks and Recreation; the New York-Presbyterian Hospital's Paws for Patients Program with Lana Wechsler, volunteer program coordinator, and Richard Evans, director, volunteer and patient-centered services; Rachel McPherson, Good Dog's founder and executive director; and outstanding Good Dog volunteers. Perri Peltz, reporter for NBC 4HD-TV will be the master of ceremonies. Dogs are welcome!

Therapy Dog Day, Sunday, June 1, 2008

The first annual Therapy Dog Day will be held from noon to 6:00 p.m. in Tompkins Square Park, Seventh Street at Avenue A in New York City, the site of the first off-leash dog run in the city. Bring your dog for a day of activities and fun, including agility, dog contests, food, and most importantly, recognition of Good Dog volunteer teams!
